i needed to say bye again (lol)

well for sho today is my last blog enrty you probabyl got tired of me typing soi much into this since mty last one seemes lik my kife story(lol) well i just finished my mickey mouse button and oo does it look so retro and koo cant wait for the exebition to get my shirt and bhtton iu guess theres gnna be stivckers too i didt even know dat untill steve told us well wat can i say other than tha this class was a wonderful experience and well i really enjoyed this class i got tio meet new ppl and well the best thing was that i didnt even feel like i was in school yea it was a class but it didnt feek nothing like school at all so it  ade everything really unstresful and relaxed and i liked that i eveb liked getting up really early to make it on time lol well im really gonna miss steve john and nick they were the forst ppl to actually address me as esmeralda lol i guess it made me feel special lmao (jk) well iu gotta go already n get home im gonna b totally late i hope that me as well as everyone else still logs in becuade one things for sure  i will lol

EnD Of OuR JoUrNeY as culture spiers! :(

well my first piece was a poster of tweety. if youve noticed he seems angry or well kinda cranky, wanna know why because he doesnt want marketers to steal teens styles!!!!! the message is pretty clear and understandable. i wanted to use someone who is well known and loved by everyone including the media. so then tweety automatically popped in my head and what is tweety without sylvester! lmao i wanted to make the message self explanatory, funny, and yet understandable by everyone and i think i did suceed in that area. i put sylvester in for a couple of reasons,one was  because tweety mentions him in his message , it would have looked maybe a little to simple and well tweety nd sylvester are well in a way connected like mickeymouse and minnie and like pb & j they like glue. when i was makin this poster and deciding what to do next i kept thinking to myself “wow this class really did teach me somthing that was always right on front of my eyes and i never realized before” if it hadnt been coming to these classes i would have never learned everything i did about how the media has alot to do with the choices we make . like deciding what shirt to buy when you go to the store or like what type of shoes will i buy . it really made me think alot of the everyday decisions i make. the second piece i made well its still in process is a mickey mouse button. i actually had this idea about using mickey mouse for something visual since steve had told us we were gonna  make projects and post them on the web. i guess i thought bout mickey  since well hes known by everyone and loved by everyone .  i mean who doesnt like mickey lol he has been known for the longest nd i doubt he will ever become old enoguh not to love. one day i was browsing on the computer for pictures of mickey and well i found this one that looked rather interesting since this class is called culture spy and i thought i could really use this image and then once steve saw it and said that it was small enough for a button i really put my heart into it (lol ) it realy caught my attention and it was perfect to use. although its still not finished i know its gonna come out great! this class really did impact me in a way that it really made me think bout society and the media and how we see it being advertised we (teens) automatically want it. technically that is very true and i never really realized it untill i walked in this class. i never saw the pattern of marketers teens and then selling it to us . before i honestly thought most of the time that marketers just came up with most of the styles that have been seen to us before i thoghtb they made them upo nd sold it to us but now i realize that they technically stal our styles and sell it back to us and it made me think about this alot and now i think when i do go buy a new pair of shoes or a shirt ill think  twice before doing it im really gonna miss this class and steve and nick and john with his totally koo performances(lol) well i guess this is the end of my journey as an altra fabulous culture spier!

well today i got here prety early so i checked my myspace n then we kept workin on our projects. i finsihed my tweety and the mickey design for the button. john and nick helped me with the button while nick tried to figure out how to curve the letters john ws basically in the background dancing lol and singing a song to nick well its basically nicks own lil theme song its pretty funny i cracked up (i needed it ive been in a gloomy mood) so im always gonna remeber nick as well hmmmmm the private dancer its so hilaroius u must b thnkin wtfudge ??? wat do i mean well ur gonna have to ask john and nick bout that lol. (ask john to sing it for u!!!) well after johns extrodinary performance we figured out the letters ad everything and i finaally finished it! yay! john ad steve said it was better to trace so i traced mickey out like five times cuz i didnt like the others so when i finally decided on one john went to go scan it and now im waiting till john gets back to c what i do next.. i really like these classes and i cant belive we only have today and tomorrow ima really miss this culture spying i learned slot of things even though today im not really in a very happy mood soimetimes this class makes my mornings really good and unexpected. i hope even after these classes i still log in as well as everyone else to write my thougts bout my everyday life as a culture spier watching out for  marketers!  i just finished coloring in mickey mouse so tomorrow ill be completely finished with everything unfortunately tomorrow is my last class which  i totally  hate well u cant wait for tomorrow imma miss everyone (tear, tear)  this day i walked in all gloomy and sad and im leavin happy and very amused lol cant wait fo tomprrw

well today i got here just in time. we kept working on our projects today and  started with my tweety poster (it looks so fabulous lol) and i started on my mickey mouse poster which is comin iut pretty good actually. oh yeea and melissa and her group wrre makin a video bout nike shoes and guess wat i had my nikes on today so i let them borrow them… they were makin my shoes talk and jalene started singin well a lil theme somg for the video which was so funny. i had alot of fun today and im gonna miss our last class i was gettin used to comin here it diesnt even remind me of skool and then again its a class thats wha i like it doesnt feel nothin like school at all
